Ginger and Italian orange fizz up like the first pour, champagne sparkling over the top. Then the flowers arrive: magnolia, jasmine and tuberose, lush and a little heady. Honey thickens it all into something sweet and sticky, while cedarwood and patchouli keep it warm and grounded.

Top Notes: Ginger, Italian Orange, Champagne

This is the 10 ml
Filled to order from the same numbered batch as the 100 ml, at the same 22 to 25 percent concentration. Fits a coat pocket. Around 120 sprays; at two a day, two months with Nesso before you decide on the 100 ml, one of 250 numbered bottles.

How it wears
Sparkling, floral, sweet without turning to sugar. Champagne over ginger at the start, jasmine and tuberose in the heart, honey and cedar underneath. Eight to ten hours on skin. The first hours fill a room; by evening it sits close. Unisex, worn all year.

The other three, in 10 ml: Urla, Manche, Ribeira. All four together: Travel House.

WHY WE MADE IT?

We took a perfect flower bouquet and reinterpreted it. Then we poured a little champagne over it and stirred in honey until it turned sweet and sticky. Somewhere in there it stopped being perfect. Good. Perfect was never the point. Nesso is a bouquet that got a little out of hand, floral and golden and gleefully messy. It came out exactly the way we wanted it.
